Welcome to the training on Introduction to Medicaid Case Management Services in Texas provided by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) and the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS).

Case Management for Children and Pregnant Women (CPW) has added health professions that are eligible to provide case management services and expanded services available to pregnant women. This course provides an overview of the role of Medicaid case managers who serve eligible children, youth and pregnant women in Texas, along with requirements to enroll and provide services through CPW. Completing this course and downloading a certificate of completion meets the requirement for Medicaid case management training prior to being certified as a Medicaid case manager.
