Timely Topics and New Courses

Texas Health Steps Online Provider Education is expanding its library with new CE courses about pediatric hypertension, bullying, long-acting reversible contraception, and food insecurity and housing instability. Other new offerings include shorter courses on prescribing pre-exposure medication to prevent HIV and preparing medical offices to survive and recover from disasters. In addition, a wide range of courses are being updated.

Texas Health Steps’ free online courses focus on pediatric, adolescent and maternal health topics and provide up-to-date clinical and best practice guidelines, as well as office management tips. Courses are specifically developed for Texas Health Steps and Texas Medicaid providers but are relevant to all Texas primary care providers.
